Extra Repayments
Even small extra repayments can cut years and thousands of dollars of interest from your loan.
Offset & Redraw
An offset account or redraw facility can reduce the interest you pay while keeping funds accessible.
Regular Reviews
Rates and lender policies change. A review every year or two helps make sure your loan still suits you.
Deposit & LMI
A 20% deposit usually avoids LMI, but there may be options if you are buying with less.
Home Loan FAQs
How much can I borrow?
Borrowing capacity depends on your income, expenses, debts, deposit and the lender policy. We can run your numbers across a range of lenders to give you a realistic figure.
What is LMI?
Lenders Mortgage Insurance protects the lender, not you, and is usually charged when your deposit is less than 20% of the property value. It can often be added to the loan.
Should I choose fixed or variable?
Fixed rates give certainty on repayments, while variable rates usually offer more flexibility such as offset accounts and extra repayments. Many borrowers split their loan to get some of both.
Can you help me refinance?
Yes. We can compare your current loan with options across our lender panel and handle the switch for you if a better option suits your goals.
